Step-by-Step: How to Create a Short Link in Linkkit

Click “Create Link”

Navigate to your dashboard and click the Create Link button at the top right corner.

This opens the link creation panel.

Enter the Destination URL

Paste the full URL where users should be redirected.

Make sure:

  • The URL starts with https:// or http://

  • The destination page is live and accessible

This is the final page visitors will land on.

Customize the Link Slug

The slug is the part of the short URL that appears after your domain.

Example:

yourdomain.com/spring-offer

Using a clear and descriptive slug:

Adding UTM Parameters for Campaign Tracking

  • Begin tracking clicks immediately

  • Allow edits at any time (depending on settings)



You can also generate QR codes or access detailed analytics from the link row actions.
