Billing & Payments

How am I billed?

Linkkit bills based on your selected plan and billing cycle:

  • Monthly billing: charged every month

  • Annual billing: charged once per year with 2 months free

You choose the billing cycle during signup or plan upgrade.

When will I be billed?

You are billed immediately when you:

  • Subscribe to a new plan

  • Switch to a higher plan

  • Upgrade to annual billing

Renewals occur at the beginning of each billing cycle.

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?

Yes! You can switch billing cycles anytime from your Billing & Plans page.
Choosing annual billing lowers your overall cost and gives you 2 months free.

Can I update my payment method?

Absolutely. To update your card or billing details:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing & Plans

  2. Select Billing Information

  3. Edit your payment details

Changes apply immediately.

Upgrading & Changing Plans

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your paid plan:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing & Plans

  2. Click Cancel Subscription

  3. Confirm the cancellation

Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan.

You will:

  • Retain access to all paid features until the billing period ends

  • Keep all existing links active

  • Be moved to Free plan limits once the cycle completes

Linkkit does not provide refunds for unused time in the current billing period.

How do I upgrade my Linkkit plan?

To upgrade:

  1. Log in to your Linkkit dashboard

  2. Navigate to Settings → Billing & Plans

  3. Click Change Plan

  4. Select a higher plan

  5. Confirm your payment

Your new plan activates instantly with new limits and features.

Can I downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can downgrade anytime. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, ensuring you still get full access until then.

What happens to my links if I downgrade?

When you downgrade (for example, from Business to Pro, or from any paid plan to Free):
Your existing links:

  • Continue working normally

  • Keep redirecting without interruption

However:

  • You cannot create new links beyond your new plan’s limit

  • Free plan users are limited to 25 new links per month

  • Custom domains already connected remain active

  • You cannot add new custom domains beyond your downgraded plan limit

  • Analytics retention adjusts to your new plan’s data limits

If your link count exceeds the new plan’s allowance, you’ll need to delete links or upgrade again to create new ones.

What if I exceed my plan limits?

If you exceed your monthly tracked click or link limits, you’ll be prompted to upgrade. Higher plans offer more capacity.

Plan Limits & Usage

How many links can I create on each plan?

  • Starter: 250 new links/month

  • Pro: 2,000 new links/month

How many clicks can be tracked?

  • Starter: 10,000 clicks

  • Pro: 50,000 clicks

  • Business: 150,000 clicks
